I was walking with my younger brother and...?

few of these guys made comments, one said "hey goodlooking" the other one gave an air kiss, and the they threw a stone at my brother outta jealousy. can i inform the police about this?

it didnt hit but it was kinda big and could have caused serious injury!

You can tell the police anything you want( and they may even pretend to care), but since no crime was commited don't expect too much.

You can definitely inform the police about this, whether it hit or not it was an assault. How they will respond is anyone's guess and if you can't give them solid descriptions of the perpetrators they may or may not take your report. Ask yourself if it is worth the trouble. What good will come of it? Will they even find the guys who did this?

Well, how were you dressed?  Were you dressed respectfully, or half naked?  And what is your reputation in your neighborhood?  Are you know for being easy, or not?  Those things would come into factoring out things.  I wouldn't call the police for someone throwing a stone at you.  You could've just gone over and kicked their butts!  You'd think your brother would've.

i think you should tell your parents first and then see what they say about this. If you think they wont do anything about it then go to the police because this a kind of harrasment or assault. As long as you know where the people are located, then  strongly recomend the police.
