I was watching law and order criminal intent?

just now and on the case they said that the kid was watching their lips and not making eye contact and when he ouched his eye it forced him to look up.then they said that he tilted his head to the right then they said the right side of the brain was the imagunative part that lies so he tilted his head to the left..

could someone explain this?

Lies are detectable by mostly human interactions and movements. When people are telling the truth they often are relaxed and usually gets offensive on the subject, while the lair will go into a defensive state.

The side of the brain that is more active during lieing is the right side, so when say someone asks a question, they may tilt the head the left or look to the left when using the memory/information side, while doing the opposite for lying.

I find myself, tilting my head to the right when I am confused and trying to thing something out, or writing essays. However, when I am doing math or Science, subjects such as that. I find myself tilting my head left.

Eye contact is key. You have to be very focused and a natural liar to keep eye contact. Most people if trying to keep eye contact will focus too much on that and blur their words or be off key with their emotions and actions to their words.
