I was wondering can someone donate "recyclable"plastic containers to third world countries

Question

I know it may sound a bit far fetched or perhaps even "silly", but I was looking at alot of the items I recycle...plastic containers w/lids,coffee cans, heavy weight bags, baby food jars, and various types of containers.

I thought about how when we were on a camping trip recently, I reused several such containers for food storage and even as a container to eat out of, and thought why couldn't this be "useful" to someone who lives in less than "modern" living conditions.

I know that this wouldn't "solve" anything but it might ease the burden a bit.

So do you know of any organization that accepts "recyclable" containers for this purpose?
