I do not have a tower on my boat. I am not looking for big air just enough to show off to my friends.

  1. lift your legs.

  2. Towers are pretty overrated.... I have one on my boat and it does help, but it isn't necessary.... The key is to first become comfortable with edging back and forth across the boat's wake. Once you are comfortable with that, edge out on your toe-side (the side that your feet point).  If you ride regular (left foot forward), it is much easier to learn to jump from the right side of the boat.  After that, turn back towards the wake and bend your knees like you are sitting down in a chair. When you reach the peak of the wake, push down with your feet and jump.  Once in the air, you can either bring the handle to your front hip, or let go with your back hand. This keeps your board from turning sideways.  This is the most important thing that people who are new to the sport do not learn.  This is very important to learn because you must do one of these two things in order to learn harder tricks.  When you are about to land, absorb the shock of the landing with your knees.  It isn't super easy to jump and land at first, but with lots of practice, it will become natural.

  3. um you just bend your knees and jump as you would on the ground then when your in the air bring your knees up higher

it works better if you go out to the other side of the wake and speed back towards it and right when you hit the top of the wake jump

and always try to land with the back end first so u wont do a face plant because it can hurt and u get alot of water up your nose
