  1. Tag in with the AMA or American Motorcyclist Association and they can help you get started on where the best training facilities are for beginners, while on line to http://ama-cycle.org sign up to be a member. You will need to be a member in order to actually race, since most races are AMA sanctioned.

  2. I can't give you any info off the spot but you may want to check a local dealers website or drop by one and see if they have any fliers. My dealership always has a stack of different tracks and races that are going on in the near future sitting up near the register.

  3. I live in NorCal, and there are lots of tracks and they all offer a beginner class. Why wouldn't they? You gotta start somewhere. Find a track in your area and go race it. Have fun.

  4. Just google the tracks in your area and then get in touch with the race secretary of the closest to find out when they race and what sections are available to you.  You should also find out what days they have practice days as you should do a number of those before you race.

You will also need to find out what other things you need to be able to race as I know where I am you have to have a race licence before you can race but don't think that this is the case in all  countries.  But the race secretary will tell you how to join the local club and what other memberships and licences that you need and that way you are getting the correct information for your area

    Good luck with racing
