I was wondering if a fan of mine on yahoo want to add me on friends list. What is it and what does it do?

If someone adds you to their contacts here in Answers, they become your fan. That just means that they can more easily find your questions, answers and starred questions. Your questions and the questions you star, will show up on the home page and their profile page. You have the option to not allow fans if you like. You change change your settings from your profile page - just click "edit my info" and check or uncheck the relevant boxes, then preview and ok at the bottom.

Hope that was what you were asking... or did you mean on 360 maybe? If so, that just means they want to be connected to you there so that you can comment on each other's pages and blog entries.
