I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not you are able to use the GI Bill for helicopter pilot training?

  1. You can only use the gi bill toward a degree, Last summer they stopped paying for certifications of any kind.

    You could use it at a college that has a part 141 flight school, but you would only get something like $1050 a month.

    Fortunately, if you are a vet you can take out loans even if you arent 26 yet, you can get quite a bit if you fill out the fafsa.


  2. Yes, but only for professional training. You cannot use it towards a private. Only a license that you can make money with.
