I was wondering if anyone can recommend some places to stay between Marbella and Valencia for part if my hols?

I am planning a holiday starting in Marbella and finishing in Valencia can anyone recommend some nice places to stay on the way?

Bol Nuevo

The port has recently had a lot of money spent on it making it pedestrianised.

Theres a wonderful chinese in Bol Nuevo but don't bother with the naturist camp at the far end !!!!

a bit north of Almería go to Cabo de Gatos, west of Almería Tabernas with the places where they did a lot of the "Italo-Westerns", Puerto de Mazarrón and Bol Nuevo, go to Cabo Tiñoso, don´t miss Cartagena and/or Murcia, stay at the Mar Menor. Go to Elche with its palmtree forrest. Forget Benidorm. Except for the old town (some left overs only) an ugly high rise something. Rather go to Altea, a few km north. Stay in Cullera. There is a small hotel close to the lighthouse at the north end of Cullera, close to the beach, and go on the road alongside the coast to Valencia.

For hotels, always ask the local turist office. They got lists, mostly with prices. I don´t know in which category you would like to stay.

Take a drive to Granada there are some amazing things to see there, then pop to Almeria then stop off in murcia then Guardamar as it has some of the most beautiful beaches in Spain then Alicante for shopping then u could go to Benidorm then up to Valencia. i have been to all these places and its quite a nice drive from Marbella to the Alicante region.
