I really want to dress up for it.

i want to have dancing (dj or band?).

food?

favors?

cake?

theme?

decorations?

invitations?

thank you cards?

also, how many people should i invite if i am renting out a hall the size of a firehouse hall? i want to have a big dance floor of dancing people, and i have NO idea how many might fit in it.

so far i have about 35 people planned for the invite.

should i have tables for people to sit at?

other stuff about me that may help you help me decide:

im girly.

fav color: blue.

i dont want the party to run too expensive. like $500 max (not including hall rental)

i love to dance (however im not good at all haha).

i love to have fun.

i really dont want a cliche party. no "movie", casino, princess, etc.

i want something awesome and original. but i cant think of anything :P

but nothing formal, b/c then no one would come.

and is it rude to ask people to wear a certain color?

i also want my 2 bff's to be my "vip's".

thanks:D

  1. I answered a few of your questions. Hope this helps!

Dressing up for it is great, but you might want to let others know it'll be formal if you want them to dress up as well

i want to have dancing (dj or band?). DJs are good because you get different kinds of music. I'd suggest one.

food? Unless you plan to have dinner there, lots of snacks are good, like chips and stuff.

    invitations? yup

    thank you cards? yup

also, how many people should i invite if i am renting out a hall the size of a firehouse hall? Depends how many people are safe to have in there. Stupid Fire Marshall laws :]]

should i have tables for people to sit at? Definetely

and is it rude to ask people to wear a certain color? I dont think so, though I'd have one or two colors (like if you said white, say white or gray or black or something. It depends, though, if you have friends who sometimes struggle with money or something).

Possible themes--you could match your favors and cake: Beach-People could dress in sundresses and flip flops, or whatever. Your decorations would be blue-ish and tan.

Hollywood-Its always fun to get dressed up in really fancy clothes. You could have a red carpet and gold coloured table cloths.

Icey-Decorations would be silver, white and blue. White flowers could be in vases, and the lights would only be dim, possibly lit by candles?

  5. Wow!  You have a lot of questions.  It will be hard to answer them all here but I am willing to work with you to help you accomplish the results you want.  Email me personally and we can go over the details if you like.  I have thrown a sweet sixteen for $500 total (depends on where you live), including the hall rental...I'm sure I can help you out with this.  I have lots of experience.
