I was wondering if it was ok to date my cousin's uncle on his mother's side?

My cousin's uncle and I have been really good friends for a long time. He is my cousin's mother's brother. My cousins mother and my dad's brother got a divorce so is okay for him and I too date or would it be too weird for everybody. Let me know.

I'm not sure we can tell you if it'd be too weird for everyone, as we don't know your family to speak on their behalf.

Maybe talk to your family, see what they think?

I mean, there's nothing illegal in your dating the man, but it could very well make things awkward for you, him.. and your cousin.

Just think, if you and this man worked out, and married.. you would then be your cousins Aunt. Kinda sounds funny, doesn't it?

So, I'm guessing it would all depend on how close you are to this cousin, and on how willing you are to let it come between you and this cousin if you and this man don't work out.

I think you should do whatever feels right to you.  If he's OK with it, and you're OK with it, you should go for it.  You're not related, so that shouldn't be an issue.  Good luck!
