It's like a scratch or crack that hasn't completely broken off and they were 2 when i got them. Do i need a vet to clip their beaks?

  1. No.  My parakeet has something like that and it's normal.  If the beak is getting long, you can visit a bird store to get the beak clipped.  I thinn it's called a CUTTLE BONE- not CUDDLE BONE.  Good Luck!!!

  2. Parrots get flaky beaks all the time -- they're not broken or cracked. It's normal.

  3. yah thats normal but if they are getting too long get them something called a "cuddle bone" They are like rawhides for dogs and the birds will chew on them. this will wear their beaks down. but i dont think you can clip or cut their beaks
