I am currently in college and I would love to learn all the valuable outdoor things that Boy Scouts teach but I am no longer that young haha.

I was wondering if there is another organization where I can learn those skills, or something in the boy scouts organization for late-teens?

  1. If you want to go to scouts then your best bet would be explorers.

Explorers is the teen version above scouts, the best way would be to get in touch with scouting across your area then to try and contact said individuals who should happily take you on!

After that you could also become a young leader and although this requires a bit of training it is really rewarding working with the kids.

Hope I helped and good luck with your enquiries

Edit: Venturers is the American version of  English

    Explorers

  2. Hello tyr.loki:

If you are in the USA, try the Venturers. This group is a division of the BSA and welcomes members ages 14 to 21. Contact your local BSA council and ask if there is a Venturing Crew in your area.

    Keep on Scoutin'
