  1. You can goto babycenter and signup for week-to-week fetal development email (which will tell you size/weight, milestones, etc. as each week passes by). The site suggests half an inch long, which is 1.25cm at 7 weeks.

    We did do an ultrasound at six weeks, and eight weeks (which most people don't do anyway). Don't recall the size now, but prior to 10 weeks, almost all embryos are pretty much same size (+/- 10% variance). That is how ultrasound is used to date the pregnancy which is fairly accurate before 10-12 weeks.


  2. at 7 weeks menstrual age, the crown-rump length should equal about 10mm
