hahahaha....   hahahahhaa.

hyrbids use gasoline, they recharge a battery when the brakes are applied.  The car is actually slowed by the activation of some generators, and they charge a battery that runs an electric motor that supplements the smaller gasoline engine.  Basically, it just allows us to store the energy that is produced when trying to stop your 2500 pound vehicle.  Instead of converting it to heat from the friction of your brake pads, it converts some of it to electricity for use.

My Honda Insight runs on normal unleaded gasoline.  I get 54.7 miles to the gallon and wish I had an even more environmentally wonderful car, but it's the best Icould do for now!

go to toyota website and look at the spec,s of the hybred Prius...regular gas....its everywhere...

Most hybrids run on regular gas . . . so any unleaded gas station is where you can find it.
