I washed a fake fur blanket it got all matted and even when i brush it it still isn't silky like it was. help!

my blanket came out all matted, so i brushed it but now the fake fur on the blanket wasnt silky like it was when i bought it. i have tried everything, but its still ruff. im not expecting it to be perfect every time but at least a little softer. please help! i need the blanket really soon!

i don't expect for this to be helpful...BUT. i did try this with a my stuffed animal ><

when i was little.

i used my conditioner, and then it got really soft, then i rinsed it and my mom put it in the dryer and it was all silky :D

but i hope you just use this as a last resort
