1.) I didn't like how Draco was just reunited with his parents, and that was the end of it. We don't know how he ends up feeling about everything. I mean, JK said herself that he and Harry will NEVER be friends, but we could have had a little more evidence that he was indeed good!

2.) I did NOT like the sloppy prologue. Did you? It should have been longer and neater. Right?

3.) There were lots of loose ends that needed tying up:)

  1. 1) I do think his character should have been expanded in the last book, after the buildup in the previous six.

    2) It was a little contrived for my liking. I liked it overall, but some things (such as the recycled names) were a bit much for me.

    3) There were a few, yes, but the magic of Harry Potter is that the fans can dicuss amongst ourselves what we think happened, ad use our own imaginations. It lessens the sad feeling of the books being over.

  2. I loved the ending...it was full of open possibilities!

  3. Um. Yeah. It was Ah-mazing. I cried, laughed, lost some sleep because i was so scared. my heart was going like 100 bpm. So the epilogue was perfect. After all the action, suspense, horror, romance, etc. the book needed to end on a quiet, peaceful note.  It was nice and simple and very sweet and it was also a nice bookend to the series because the first book begins with harry going off to hogwarts for the first time and the dursleys just drop him there by himself with no love or support and at the end of the series, harry is taking his own children and the atmosphere is just so loving and fun. It was perfect!

    1. I like how JKR didn't explain every single little detail. But it makes sense that Draco would reunite with his parents because he loves them and he's the ONLY thing that they care about. And JKR did say that Harry and Draco didn't become friends but they did have an understanding. Draco does nod to Harry and Ron in the epilogue. He never would have even acknowledge them before. So they just agree to disagree now. Draco can't really hate them anymore because they saved his life and Draco in a way saved their lives too. You have to read between the lines with JKR she's complicated, so she doesn't come right out and tell what's happening.

    2. There was no prologue. I think you mean epilogue and it wasn't sloppy at all. It was short, sweet, and a nice bookend to the series. The last sentence, "All was well." was perfect!

    3. I don't remember any loose ends. Like I said, JKR doesn't tell you every little detail. She leaves room for you to use your imagination and if that's not good enough for you then that's why she's writing the Encyclopedia. It's going to have everything in it.

  4. the ending was terrible each book had been getting steadily darker and then that ending where they all lived happily ever after!! None of the main characters died at least one of harry ron or hermione should have it was way too neat. sorry i was just way too disappointed with the ending.
