I watch a fair amount of television and play video games..?

do you think i could go 1 year without looking at a television cold turkey? i have a tele on probably 24 hours a day..not always watching but it is on

It would be a very interesting experiment to try. Probably impossible in todays world though.

Maybe you should just cut back on it, get an outside hobby to get you away from the TV, maybe do the stuff you play on the computer games for real? As long as you are not playing GTA etc, LOL.

trust me you can't go on without television because obviously your addicted to it and you'll need it. and even if you do try to you'll miss out on a lot and you'll be beating yourself up for making yourself do that.

You might want to just try turning it off when you're not watching it.  You'd also be saving electricity.  :)
