I watched a documentary on the jonestown massacre?

The leader of that cult (James Warren Jones) told his followers to drink

poison.They did and 918 people died. That was in 1978. Now i know that cult's do tend to kill themselves.What i do not understand is WHY? they follow a deluded cult leader as though they were JESUS

when it clearly says in the bible that JESUS is the only way to God,and not a preacher who is only speaks what is in the bible.

There are many warnings of false Prophets and that is especially

goes for them that preach from the bible.It really makes me angry and

sad when i hear of mass suicide's,and that people could be so easily lead.Do you think you could be easily lead to suicide? i had a better

question but i have completely forgotten what i was going to ask.

He made the ultimate sin of pride...He decided God gave him the power to understand everything, and he manipulated the loneliness and paranoia of others to that end....

Don't lose the lesson about it...don't live inside your own head too long, and don't embrace a religion out of dark manipulative words...

preachers speak a little bible mixed with a lot of lies just like cult leaders ,people are stupid and don't read their bibles,if i had to die

Unfortunately most all people are gullible, educated or not.

Some just fall for nuts like Jim Jones, and others for idiots like Richard Dawkins or Steve J Gould.

Humans are like that.- Thats why its so important to expose the lie and uncover the truth. The sad thing is that a lie can be fabricated so as to be much easier to believe than the truth. From the most well lighted halls of academia to the little church on the hill, Satan lurks.

All must exercise caution.
