In the Film 'Battle Royal 2' it was stated that the United States have killed over 8 million people in 22 countries in the past 60 years and goes on to name all the countries.

Are there any websites or books that verify this number?

  1. Isn't it the case that the 'battle royale' series is set in an imaginary future?

    anyway

I dont know the figures, but it could be true..... was battle royale 2  made in or before 2005?

in that case, the figures would include the second world war. I think most people would agree that America's part in that, was a good thing

{edit} it was made in 2003 - therefore 'the last 60 years' would include the end of the second wold war.

also, I doubt that the scriptwriter for a sci-fi-film would be too choosy about using 'fully accurate' facts and figures

  2. I'd like to see websites and books for that, too. I'd also like to see a website or book that verifies the number of people who were "killed" by the British Empire, German Empire, French Empire, Nazism and Communism.

  3. You mentioned the 'world court' Do you really think we are going to let YOU have any say over what happens to Americans or America? Y'all are really very amusing Come on you see us we are in your country why don't you just come on up and tell us how you feel For the intellectual above 'one every 5 sec that would be 12 per min x 60  =720 per hour x 24 = 17,280 per day = In a short time  there would be no Americans What a half wit

  4. Okay. So the US has "killed" 8 million in the past 60 years. How many did Hitler, Stalin, and Mao kill during their benevolent reigns? I'm pretty sure that each one took less than 60 years. So what's the point. Another bashing of the only country that has tried, for better or worse, to keep some kind of peace in the world. What a surprise.

  5. its not a surprise

interfering in south America , Asia and Africa

more than a million were killed in Iraq a lone

not counting the killing that was done by the US allys

  6. Carpet-bombing raids usually killed more people in a single raid than either of the two A-bombs. But we certainly weren't alone in fighting that way. They were all doing it, especially the axis powers.

As for the time since WWII, did you know that Pres. Eisenhower, in his farewell address, warned the U.S. sternly of the threat posed by the Military-Industrial complex? Everything he predicted has come true.

That shouldn't surprise anyone, really, given that the man was a five-star general, career soldier, architect of D-Day and then, politician. He was more in the know than anyone else COULD be.

I don't think America is a nation on par with Hitler's Germany or Hussein's Iraq. However, there's always room for improvement, especially when we've permitted our government to become something the Constitution prohibits.

I'm for an Amendment granting power of veto over any item of any bill (especially PORK-heavy riders). A veto would require a vote of "unconscionable" by the "Jury Congresses" of 70 per cent of lower house districts. And EVERY BILL should be reviewed! That would stop most of the nonsense from happening in the first place.

Until then, vote Ron Paul. The guy has more virtue, character and knowledge than any candidate in years.

  7. What about the other side of the coin! And ask!how many lives has it saved?

  8. Not seen any.

You need to read some books love.Find out about the covert work of the mighty U.S.It has it's disruptive fingers in everyone elses pies. Just work your way through the alphabet,I doubt there's a country it missed out.One for starters:the American backed attempt at the overthrowing of the democratically elected government of Venezuela.Peace has nothing to do with anything the U.S. Government deals in.

Edit Robert C:As above.Covertly starts the trouble then acts like the cavalry.Save my @rse.

  11. ... and the rest.  I don't know how the States (and many other Western countries) can be 'defenders of democracy' and have a go at China etc. after their actions of the past 60+ years.  Legitimate defense, huh!  yeah, right.  I hope you find the evidence you need I am sure there is lots out there.
