Logicaly i would imagine it is because every plant or person that dies (sorry not i nice image) will add, very slowly to the ground, and so the earth will grow.

The earth isn't growing but scientists believe that our universe is still expanding from the "big bang" because this is the only explanation for the stars to be moving away from us. hope this helps

Sorry but no, logically, every atom and molecule that made you would have to have come from the earth too so you win some (when anyone eats something) and you lose some (When someone dies). So its a balence.

I don't think the earth is growing, unless there is something I don't know like meteors adding to the earth really slowly.

Also you may be referring to the fact that the earth isn't a perfect sphere, and since it is spinning, it is slowly getting wider and wider and flatter (like being squashed).

I think i know the video you watched.

Its definatly not true. Although the earth is gaining a 'small' amount of mass from space it is not growing in the way the video says.

This theory is base on that subducting plates did not exist many years ago. This couldnt be true. They exist now why not then. We know they exist now because of their effects and through geophysics.

It also says that vast oceans didnt exist then because there is no oceans that old existng today. The reason for this is the oceanic plates have been subducted and detroyed by the magma underneat. But some oceans that existed at that time have been uplifted through plate tectonics so this proves there were oceans.

Alot of what that video sad was true but it also left out other important things that can really disprove his theory. I can understand alot of people believing this theory, But its not true.
