I watched the GOP convention. Are only white people from the mid-west patriotic and loyal Americans? I did not?

I don't know what chanel you watched. But on mine there were a number of blacks including one who wore a RED veterans hat that said Marines.. How did you miss that? There were several couples and lots of black ladies too.

I have some old thick glasses I wore before I had cataract surgery I'll lend them to you.

You either watched the convention through liberal colored glasses or not at all as I saw quite a few black, Asian, and other ethnic(I saw the Puerto Rican flag being waved by some guys last night) people in the crowd. In other words, you are a biased dope.

I saw many black people in the audience throughout the past few days, even a few black speakers (Michael Steele and another guy).

Do you really think McCain is thinking of "Country First", putting that woman as Vice President?  Can't you just see her sitting at a table in the Middle East?
