I wear glasses, im 16 i cant see distance..?

will my eyes get worse and worse.. better if i use my glasses.. will i go blind?!!!?

Wearing glasses doesn't make your vision better, doesn't make your vision worse, and doesn't prevent your vision from changing.  It simply focuses images where they should be on your eye.

Your eyes will continue to change as you grow no matter what you do.  Unfortunately, your eyes will most likely get worse.  Myopia (nearsightedness) usually progresses through the teens and then will stabilize in the twenties.  You will not go blind.

it depends on the person. Glasses can only help. My eyes get worse every year, but not by much. I'm near sighted too  I wear my glasses almost all the time to help.

Most of the people have the wrong concept that we will go blind when we cannot see distance. However, this is not the case.

At the age of 16, our eyes are actually still developing and thus there is still possibilities that your prescription might get worsen. However, it also depends on individuals and also the environment. Try adopting good reading habits when you're studying, watching tv and using computer.

It would definitely be better if you wear your glasses. This is to prevent the possibilities of worsening. If you need spectacles and yet you're not wearing them, it will worsen as you will tend to strain your eyes to see things clearly, this will then results in even blurrer vision in the long run.

ur eyes wont get any better but wearing glasses will prevent them from getting worse......ur eyes will keep getting worse till you stop growing....dont worry, nowadays everyone has glasses or contacts.
