I weigh 140 pounds and im 5'1 , i want to lose 45 pounds (im 16 .5 yrs old) ?

how long do you think it will take? if i do 60 minutes cardio a day and dont go over 1200 calories?

  1. you can lose 1-2 pounds a week doing your diet plan.  aside from  your 60 min cardio, try to stay active throughout the day too, like ride your bike walk run jumprope run swim dance aerobics. you can lose 30 - 40 pounds by december. you are young,you have a high metabolism you can lose weight faster than adults. good luck. (eat healthy food too ok?)


  2. Losing 45lbs would make you underweight. You would look sickly and be unhealthy.

    I'm 5'1 and 110lbs, I used to be 140 as well at your age, but I ate healthy (no silly fad diets), and exercised (cardio and weight training). There is no way for us to tell you how long it would take, because everyone is different, and we don't know what your metabolism is like.

    My suggestion is to make a new goal, one that it healthy and attainable.

  4. That will work but it will happen faster if you strengthen the muscles too.  Women are afraid of strength training because they think they will get big, bulky muscles, most will not.  

    That 1200 calories must consist of a good healthy nutrition plan, not starbucks and McDonald's or processed foods.  Go here for at home exercises:

  5. that is not very healthy you will look way too skinny stay in between 115 and 145. check out a BMI and make sure your not cutting it too close.

  6. first of all you will look like a piper that is entirely too much weight to loose, Maybe 115-130 pds should be a goal, it should take maybe 3 to 6 months depending on your metabolism. Good luck
