Question:

I weigh 190 pounds now, I'm 5'4'', how much SHOULD I weigh? I can I weigh that buy the end of 2008?

I've done weight watcher before but I just can never remember to write anything down. I've been trying to eat better and exercise and I've been loosing like 1 or 2 pounds a week. I'm not looking for immediate results, but how much should I weigh, and estimating at loosing 1.5 pounds a week, could I get to that goal but December 30, 2008?

PLEASE! no mean answers. if you're going to say something mean, just think it, don't write it please.

  1. start running a lot! im actually underweight and somehow lost weight from running!

    start trying to run a mile everyday. try to get 10 mins. you prob wont ur first times.

    also eat healthy. you should still have snacks but make sure its healthy. have like nuts, or an apple. eat fish and salads for dinner. eat light, and nothing fried.


  2. you should weigh about 120 pounds

    so you need to lose 70 pounds

    the end of the year is going to be coming up in 3 months, that's about 20 pounds a month.

    that's too much.

    you can lose at most 15 pounds the FIRST month. then 12. then 10. then 10 again. then like 5. and it will continue getting hard.

    keep doing weight watchers. do the core plan. that's better for you.

    eat less. no junk food. exercise more.

  4. nope sorry hun its gonna take a lot longer than that. the healthy weight range for your height is 108-145 and you could only lose up to 32 pounds(if you lost 2 pounds a week). keep doing what your doing though cause you will still be able to lose significant weight by the end of 2008. you can probably reach your goal by around march or april(depending on how skinny you want to be). good luck and way to go for trying to get healthy! =]

  5. You need to cut your calorie intake.

    I weigh 150 lbs. to maintain my weight around there i must eat 1500 calories.

    I eat b/t 1000-1200 calories

    Cut out sodas. Water is much more healthy for you and it also clears out acne. Double benefits lol Don't cut sodas out completely, have like one a day.

    Increase your exercise each week.

    If you are walking a mile the first few weeks. Increase that to two miles. It'll give you more energy for the day.

  6. a healthy weight for your height, according to the diet channel, is anywhere from 116-140 pounds. let me just tell you sister the secret is just: WATCH WHAT YOU EAT & EXERCISE. if exercising was as much fun as eating or vice versa, we'd be in pretty good shape :P. you gotta exercise hard, save an hour for maybe just running/push ups/sit ups everyday. drink LOTS of water (cold water preferably as that speeds up your metabolism). & when you are about to eat something, make sure its for the right reason- you're REALLY hungry not like pop corn when watching a movie. try to only snack on fruits & veggies (like celery- it burns more calories than it gives/for a yummy treat try frozen yogurt or carrots & dip). good luck!

    (this weight chart gives a healthy weight to height ratio according to a BMI scale and even gives a few pounds to spare)
