Question:

I weigh 195 and im 5'11?

my bench press is 225x3,squat 315x2,deadlift 375x1, powerclean 195x1, and run a 4.9 on the 40 yard dash

im opening this one agian becuase alot of them asked if i was in college im acutally just turned 16

  1. I think a QB but only if you have a good throwing arm.

    WR if you can jump/catch

    or saftey if you are really aware


  2. You are ahead of the curve for strength training at your age. Do be extremely careful because you are still growing. You could shatter your growth plates. If you experience pain in your wrists, elbows, and knees please consult a doctor. I had a friend who had to have a operation because he shattered a growth plate and one leg was longer than the other. They had to remove the growth plate in his other leg.

    If you are not experiencing pain, I would not increase your weights until you turn 18. That is usually the age with your growth stops. Then you could add more weight to improve your chance at a good college program.

    Finally, in my opinion, I would try to improve your 40 time. If you could get it to 4.5, you could have the option of playing multiple positions. It would make you more marketable.

    One last thing: Please be very careful. Do not try to do too much and injure yourself. I dislocated a shoulder when I was around your age and it was never the same. I went from 225 to 125. To this day, bench press is still a struggle.
