Question:

I went for a longer than usual jog, now, the day after, my ribs hurt?

I usually go for 15 min jogs or so, but the other day i upt it to a 40 min jog. My legs are a little sore today, which is understandable, but my lower ribs are sensitive to the touch. coughing doesnt affect it, but getting out of the shower and using a towel, or just scratching my skin and going over the 2 parts it hurts. What is this from?

  1. the muscles in between ribs are responsible for breathing and when u run they contract strongly and more often...

    - so when u ran more than they are used to, they just cramped... the diaphragm muscle also did cramp
