I went on my paypal account today, and I was suprised to see my balance was in the negatives?

Ok, so someone sent me has sent me 500 dollars recently, but they sent it to me in about 4 payments in the past week or so. Transferred 100 about a week ago and then 100 a day later. I then transferred all that money to my bank account and it transferred successfully. Then they sent the rest of the 300 a few days later, then sent 200 and then 100 the next day. After I got that, I went to transfer that to my bank account and it was taking longer than expected, so I went to check my paypal just a minute ago and was trying to see why my funds havent transferred to my bank account and suprisingly, it says my balance is -387.50. At the activity, I saw that the 2 payments say "Held" under status. And then Now it says I have 3 transactions on temporary hold, which were the ones I sent to my bank account. WHy is this? Are they taking my money?

because your bank is holding the money  for about 7-10 days for it to clear but wants it is clear you will not be in the negative anymore..
