I went oniline to irs.gov and itsays ill be getting 2100 for my stimulus payment on july 4.?

I thought i owed them money but they said that was the amount i will receive. I just want to know if I will really be receiving that amount. I really need the money.

That's the amount you qualify for.  If you owe back taxes, the amount you owe will be taken to pay off your debt, and if there's anything left, you'll get the rest.  But it will be delayed while they do the offset.

They are going to deduct what you owe, this will delay the check by about 6 weeks.   You should receive something in the mail after July 4 giving you details of how to reach them if it is delayed more then 6 weeks.
