I am a little new to this type of diet my nutritionist has me on, and I had 5 grams more fat than I was supposed to, is this really going to hinder my progress that much? It's almost 9pm...should I go exercise and burn it off or what? I went over on fat but I have only had 1300 calories today and the other things I am supposed to be managing (cholesterol, protein, and carbs) I am lower than my target, so should I be worried I went over? I am really trying to do good on this diet because if I work hard and I can't lose weight my doctor is talking about gastric bypass....and well yeah.....so any help? or any other diet tips would be great! :-) lol

  1. hey i have a nutritionist to but for a ED and that's the adverge amount you can have..they want you to amine for it but not be focus on it

  2. Just five grams isn't going to do anything.  You can't just throw yourself into a diet, in any case!  You have to ease yourself in, and if you eat a little bit more than you should for the first few days, it's fine.

  3. read this link on weight loss..

    http://www.healthmad.com/Weight-Loss/Get...

I think it will help you I was having a hard time reading/understanding your question..

but I assume you want to lose weight and the link will tell you some things your doctor wont!

  4. Just eat less fat tomorrow. You can only try your best every day. Exercise some if you are stressed about it, but you've not eaten that many calories.

  5. Its not so much "how many grams" of fat you have a day...it's more based on the percentage of fat you have based on the amount of calories you've had.

basically it has to do with energy levels from carbs and your body's ability to burn off fat and what not.

a great site to go to figure out the percentages and find all the nutritional facts of food is

    mypyramidtracker.gov

it's really an amazing site, you search for food that you have eaten everyday, click on how much you've had...and the site does the rest.

it has a list of nutrient intakes, and a daily comparison guide
