I went through a red traffic light the other day, because I was stupid, it changed so quick on a fast road, and I thought it'd be safer to go through. I know it was stupid. What happens next? Will I get points and a fine?

  1. Is there a number to call on the piece of paper?

If so call it, if not get on the phone to the nearest CAB and ask a professional for free.

  2. prob 3 points and £30 fine

  3. Yes you will be fined, usually £60 but you can go on a days training rather than have the points.

  4. Yes I got done in almost the same circumstances in Seaforth by the Port of LIverpool. It cost me about £250 including costs plus 3 points.

This was about ten years ago. Thephoto did not give a clear view of the circumstances o only of the offence. You may and only may get away with it with an apology to the Chief Constable, but I would not waste time and effort pleading Not Guilty in Court it will just increase your fine

  5. if you are in the uk its 3 pts and £30/£60 fine.

  6. ATS do not go from green to red there is an amber light before that, 3 points and a fine.

  7. You can take a class (if you haven't had any other violations recently) to not get anything on your driving licenses, but you will get a fine.

  8. I take it you were caught by a police officer. The NoIP is just that, notice to you that the police are considering prosecution.  Whether they do or not is another matter, you'll just have to wait.

  9. Yes to both they will serve a fixed penalty notice next, you can pay up (best and cheapest option) or you can go to court and argue your case, you will lose and pay a bigger fine plus court cost.

  10. points????? no its probably just a red light ticket, not sure where you are from but here in tx it cost 75 bucks
