I'm guessing the orderer took offense because of their issues with themselves, not because you made fun of Burger King.

Chances are, the order deals with weight issues, which doesn't mean they are necessarily fat- just super concious of it.

I'm not surprised they took offense. Heck, they are representing Burger King while selling the food. I'm sure they're aware as much as you that the food isn't good for your health (when eaten all the time anyway) and they probably don't want to hear about it and just do their job and get paid.
