My wife and I travelled to Cuba through Mexico and were unable to avoid having our passports stamped upon both arrivals in Mexico. We now have two consecutive Mexican entry stamps and are afraid this will arouse suspicion upon US reentry. I am a US citizen, my wife is Brazilian (US resident), and we are travelling to Brazil before reentering the US. Is there anything we can or should do?

  1. What could you possibly do about it?  Nothing.  I can't see why this would cause a problem.

  2. You won't have any problems, you both are legal in this country, do not worry go have fun!

  3. Tell them you were in Brazil. That's the truth and they probably do not check it anyway.

  4. Who looks at stamps besides you can hardly read them

  5. I have had my passport for exit and entry on different pages in the book. Just the way the person stamps..so with that being said,..they aren't going to start turning pages to find entrance and exit stamps.

One time we used delta miles to go to curacao.

We went first class provided we layed over in Bogata, columbia overnight. Then the same on the way back for 2 days.

Now, with the drug world the way it is..to be in columbia for one night and then a week later,  another night.  LOTS of columbia stamps!!   The us customs guys asked what was up with that. I told them about the layover and off they let me go.

You should be fine.  Don't stress :~)

  6. I heard its illegal for US citizens to spend money in Cuba not travel to Cuba one of the tips I heard is to get rid of traces of anything that might point to you spending money there, your wife should be ok as she is not a US citizen.
