  1. Even in America there's little or no chance of getting stolen merchandise back.  All you can do is report it to the police.  If it was insured against theft, you may get enough for a new one from your insurance company, but it depends on what their policy is regarding travel.

  2. dial *67 then the number.

i bet if you blocked it they'd pick up.

  3. Stop buying expensive cameras that you take to Jamaica.

  4. Good luck on getting your camera back!  I'd just get a new one.  Never, ever take an expensive camera on vacation where you can't watch it 24/7.  The cheap cameras work just fine.

  5. Umm I actually live in Jamaica you not getting that **** back, buy a new one

  6. You were lucky they didn't cut your arm off to get it.

Just chalk it up to experience and buy another camera..

  7. If you trying to get it back or report it you are not going to so cut your losses and move on Sorry. Jamaican

  8. 1. Send them a text message. Ask them to contact you about the camera, being vague as possible.

    2. Report the matter to the police.

    3. Basically, unless you are willing to go through HOOPS to recover this camera, FORGET ABOUT IT. if you ARE willing to pay an arm and a leg, read on:

    4. Hire someone to recover it for you. That person would need to have connections at the phone company (to track the phone).

Technically speaking, the police can do everythign you need done, but they are NOT going to go out of thier way for a CAMERA. They are not going to trace a phone unless someone's life is in danger. If you want it done you will have to pay someone to do it.
