It was on flatbread and had this sweet, creamy cheese. It had no sauce, and was better than pizza. I know it starts with Fl...or at least Im pretty sure. Does anybody know what it was?

  1. I am a former chef and it is a delicacy from Alsace, it is called "Tarte Flamade, a thin yeast dough, covered in fromage frais, onions and bacon and baked in a hot oven similar to a pizza, it is served as an appetizer or light meal, the word is short Flemish/Flanders which is a part of Belgium, France and the Netherlands

  2. I don't know if this is what your talking  about or not but it does sound very similar

  3. The only thing I can think of is a croque-monsieur or a croque-madame...but that does not start with "fl"...sorry.  I'll get back to you if I think of something.

  4. It would have been called Le Pizza type Meale'
