I went to Taqueria Castillo and ordered a bean and cheese tostada?

Question

i went to a new mexican restraunt and wanted to order something completley different than i usally do. So i decided to get a bean and cheese tostada. I was kind of embaressed to order it but i still did it. The waiter asked me what my ethnicity was and i told her i was white. She told me that i talked really good spanish for not being mexican. I told her i have always loved talking spanish!

ok......... um, and what exactly is your question? I lived in NM for a year with my fiance'. In fact we lived just off of historical route 66. (central Ave.) and he is from Albuquerque, so even though we live in Washington state now, we still eat a lot of green chili!!!!

New Mexican food is one of the best foods EVER!!!

also try Russian and Thai and Indian food... very good as well.

glad you mastered the Hispanic pronunciation of words.... good for you. In NM everyone knows how to pronounce Spanish words, even the white people, because everything has that Mexican influence! It was really cool living there and I miss it! Especially how all the houses are adobe style and the architexture is so spanish influenced!!
