I wasn't too close to the front but I couldn't hear very well and my cousin screamed something in my ear. It hurt a little bit so I backed away and ever since I hear "foggy" in that ear, kind of like it's plugged. Then we moved up front and then both of my ears hurt. When I woke up this morning, it was just the left one that my cousin screamed in that still hurts.

I'm worried that I won't get my hearing back!! I hear a little ringing sound. And I have to go on a plane for 12 hours in 3 days so I'm very worried that something might happen on the plane with my ear.

Please help me.

Thank you.

  1. Trust me. Whenever you go to shows it's always like that. Especially if you're up front or near some speakers. It will EVENTUALLY fade away.

  2. Hello hon,

It's okay, believe me, that's just the after effect of a loud concert. I have to been to so many of them and no matter where you sit the feeling will always be the same.  Like your deaf...but don't worry...you will be okay that's the good news..

It doesn't have any long term effect...just pay close attention to it for a few days, if it still doesn't feel right, try going to the doctor hon.

Much luck, I hope you at least enjoyed the concert sweetie.

  3. consult your doctor..NOW. They can still fix it while they can and be more careful at concerts the same happened to me. I had to get surgery... Good Luck! Since your in Europe, go and see if they're open on sundays or mondays.. HURRY!!!

  4. go for a doctor

  5. Some people will say it doesn't have any long term affects.  Don't believe it.  Every time you push your ears to the hurting point hastens the day that you need a hearing aid.

Sounds like a good idea to see a doctor.  I'm not sure whether they can really help, but going on a plane in 3 days is certainly a concern.
