I went to an El Salvadoran party and they served this dish:?

which consisted of some fried "yam?" and a "cabbage" slaw of some sort. I don't know what the dish is called, so please help me out.

  1. Maybe it was fried yucca and the cabbage slaw was curtido. My brother-n-law is from El Salvador.
