  1. Is this an over the counter medication or a script?

Okay, at least in Kentucky what the state board of pharmacy says is: Typically, if you leave the counter, no matter what the error, it's your baby now. However, I was prescribed an antibiotic (Keflex) and got home and it was Tylenol #3....now, most people would be delighted right? I was not. I felt like s**+* before daylight and wanted my antibiotic. I called the pharmacist and he explained I could bring it in and they could do a pill count and that there was a DEA agent that comes twice monthly to destroy (by fire) returned or unused meds of ANY kind. I researched this and found it to be the policy of the state of Kentucky. But, I guess, as a general rule, count your pills, check your meds BEFORE you leave the counter. YOu have so many abusers anymore that last year 40 some odd doctors testified before congress that they feared and WITHHELD giving pain meds to terminal cancer patients because of the idiots a**hole Oxycontin addicts making the news every week.

So, considering that statistically 1 in 4 will suffer from cancer anymore, if I knew anyone abusing, I'd beat the h**l out of them.

    Nuff said?

Best of luck to you and yours!

  2. A chemist?

wtf kinda medicine was this, exactly...?

  3. The  only  time  you  can  exchange  medicine  is   while  you  are  still  standing  at  the  counter .

As   soon  as  you  receive  it ,  you  check  it  and  say  it   is  wrong ,

Then  they  can  change  it   but   .    .    .

If   you  leave  and  come  back  ,  they  can  Not   exchange  it .

( not  matter  how  many  minutes  it  is )

  4. slap him in the face, as long as the prescription is in your hands, or even the bill or some document to say that you require a certain medicine, he should give it to you...no matter what
