There is no American Girl...whatever... at or near Disneyland. The only thing I can think of that sounds like what you are looking for is the Anne Geddes store in Downtown Disney.  She's the one who takes photos of babies in various costumes (like dressed as a butterfly sleeping on a giant flower), but the store also sells life-sized baby dolls, also in the costumes.  If this isn't in, then I'm not sure what you're looking for.
