Whoa....Let me ask you this...I want new tires on my car but the mechanic say's that engine isn't working right.."What will he do to fix it???"...My point is this...just like my car engine could have a variety of problems, so could your jaw alignment issue. Solving the problem with your jaw alignment could be that you need what is called a bite raiser appliance or maybe you need a surgical procedure. For your Dentist to simply tell you that your jaw needs to be realigned isn't being very professional on his or her part. You should have been provided a far more specific explanation as to what needs to be done and how it will be accomplished......Go back and ask for specifics...Good luck and I wish you well.

i think getting your jaw re-aligned means they break your jaw and then put it back in the proper place.
