Just hit over 100,000 miles and have had no problems until now. My battery charges, but not sure if it is holding a charge.

  1. to determine acurrately if your battery is good, you need to have a load test done by a local shop, most will do it for free. But a very weak battery wll give you nothing but a click when trying to start it. If the battery IS KNOWN TO BE GOOD, then you have either a loose/corroded connection at the batter or starter, or possible a bad starter. If the batter is good as well as the connections, try whacking the starter with a hammer a few times, It may work after that..

  2. It could be dirty cables,a bad battery a bad starter or a bad alternator.

  3. Could also be the starter. Have it checked at your local auto parts store like advanced auto

  4. have it checked at autozone
