I went to take a shower and there was a huge spider in the tub...?

Question

It wasnt a brown recluse thank goodness, but what was it? about 3 inches in length and it has long pin sripes going verically along its body, like a refree shirt. Kind of tan and black or dark brown in color. I live in oklahoma just north of the texas border if that helps at all. It scared the bejebus outta me, the dog bared at it I crushed with my boyfriends old desert boot. Thanks to any who can help there is alot of poisonus bugs here, most of which I am not familiar with, because I havent lived in this area long.

You shouldn't kill spiders just because you get freaked out of them.

my guess from what little knoweldge I have of spiders would be a wolf spider or grass spider. I looked it up and I can't find any spiders with vertical stripes.

you could try doing a search for it on google? just type what it looks like and see what comes up
