I went to wash my clothes at the local laundromat here in VT tonight at about 8:30 ?

there is little black fles everywhere. i had to leave it was so bad my question is what type of black fly could this be?

First of all although laundromats are good for people who does not have their own washing machine they can also be unhealthy. People often take bed clothes that they have gotten sick on........and stick them in there. Or people who don't want to mess their washer up by putting in nasty things that a dog/cat has messed on or some other animal. Perhaps that is what has happened. Something has been washed with maggots on it and wa la thousands of flies!!!..I know it would be expensive but the best thing is to run the wash cycles hot bleach water and the rinse one before do your laundry.
