Question

Test ride a horse that I might buy. Her name is Spice and she is 5yrs old and is a registered APHA Red Roan. I think she is about 15.2 hands. Here are some pics off her and me. Tell me what you think. And yes i know she is a little over weight but she also hasnt been ridden in 3 months.

Cool. My horse is 15.2 registered paint as well and she hasn't been ridden for about 5 years...plus....she isn't that overweight so don't blame the 3 months....

she's not even overweight at all!! She looks amazingly beautiful!! she's pretty lean and leggy.. but maybe it's just the way the pictures make her look? horses always seem to look skinner in pictures! (not fair! lol)

like my shetland is sooo chubby but in pics he looks almost too skinny! i'm like what the heck???

anyways... you look pretty on her =) how exciting i hope you get her! she seems very nicely put together and very level headed for a 5 year old!!1 good luck!!! new horses are always SO exciting!! Thanks for sharing  =)

she doesnt look too much overweight i think she looks great! i think you should defenetly go for this horse if you have ridden her and she is at a great age and she is just really pretty!

Very pretty girl and definitely still young enough for you to have fun with for a long time and to educate as far as you wish to.

Yeah she is a bit overweight but who cares? its certainly not your fault and its not going to be a major issue anyway, a bit of work and you will have a fantastic looking mare there :)

she looks sooo pretty and you look very confortable on her,,, which is always a good thing. i suggest that you continue your search for just a little longer to make sure that spice is what you want for sure. once your sure than get her and love her =]

she looks pretty but if this si teh first horse you have tried make sure you look at others becuase well you might find one better ( i know its super hardbecuase i feel in love with soem horses when we were looking but in the end im glad we ended up looking at more).

I think she's far from over weight. I'm not saying shes skinny. She just looks to be a lean built horse and at a very good weight.

My horse is 13 months old, and 15 hands hes a big boy!!If u think shes the right horse then go for it!!
