  1. At your level neither of that matters. Continuous rocker is faster but doesnt pop as large, three stage rocker pops great but feels a little slugish in the water. Pros go faster behind a boat than most and they have a more aggresive cut towards the wake so three stage is more preferred for bigger air. The board you get should be determined by your weight and how much you have to spend. I'm about 155lbs and ride a 132cm board, kinda short but I like the sk8 feel to it. Demo a board at a shop, most good shops will let you take the board out for the day. Make sure they dont duck out you stance on the board, your not a pro and dont ride switch. Put your back binding as far back on the board as you can and set it straight. Your front can be angled about 15 degrees. This will put your fin farther in the water for more stability. As you progress you can adjust your stance more ducked out. Good luck and ride or die.

  2. I agree pretty much with what the last guy said. It pretty much is dependent on what you want in your board. A 3 stage gets you higher in the air while you don't jump as far. Also you will be able to cut faster, yet you will be more prone to falling becuase the board has a tendency to slip out from under you to allow you to cut faster. Although the board will slip out from under you, you will be able to slip your feet back under you if you are good enough. The continous rocker won't get you up in the air as high, but you will be able to jump longer. You won't be able to cut as fast, but your board won't slip out from under you as much. I agree with the last guy that you should position you feet back on your board and all at the beginning, but I don't think the whole duck feet is a good idea. It really hurts after a day of riding. When I went to this wake camp, some of the people there told me not to duck it out because it can mess up your knees. Once you get good at staying up you can position your bindings to what makes it feel right. You should have your binding in the middle if you are going to be riding switch sometimes. Like that last guy said once you get better then you should angle you feet out more but not ducking it. Angle it, but not too much. I think I ride mine at 4 degrees; it is just in what feels right to you. I don't know which board for you to ride becuase I don't know how you ride. If you are going to be cutting real fast back and forth and want to jump highe, then get the 3 stage; if you want to have more stability and have a more fluid ride with less height but farther jumping distance, then get a continous.

P.S. You get the same air time with both boards; just different fligh styles.
