  1. Pursue a degree in mathematics, minor(or double major) in economics/finance/accounting/computer science/statistics.

Good luck, BTW I am a financial engineering (Ms) gradudate. Feel free to email me.

  2. Maths, statistics, or economics is NEVER a bad idea to get a job in investing. Accountancy is moderately useful. The issue with courses like business studies or Investment/finance courses is that they are too vague to be really useful to most hedge fund managers.

  3. You will be getting a degree in Business Administration but will major in Finance.  That is the degree that I have and you will find it rewarding and challenging.  Good luck to you.

  4. Hedge funds hire people with a strong background in accounting LIKE  ( auditing )

    or investment major.

you need to hold a master degree in finance,Accounting,or MBA with emphasis in investment.

try to get an internship during your last term with one of well -know hedge fund.

have your professors  write you 2 letters of recommendation.

after 3-6  months ..the door will be very open  to get  a position  with them

  5. Finance, and accounting.  The best is a masters in Financial Engineering.
