  1. yes.

  2. yes, I think you have until April or May to register in order to qualify to vote for the june election. Just go to your local voting website (for example in san diego, we have sdvote.com) and register to vote online. After you fill out the info online they will mail you something to sign that you send them back. Then you're fully registered and they'll send you the voter information pamphlets as well as the address to your local voting place.

  3. call your board of elections

  4. Yes you can register now.  You are/were eligible to vote in your state's primary, too. You could vote in the primary as long as you were eligible to vote in the general election in November.

  5. You did not mention the state you live in, so we cannot answer the question specifically for your state. Of course, the laws differ from one state to another, but since a constitutional amendment in 1971,all states now allow voting for federal offices at age 18.

Yes, in all or almost all of the states, you can register and vote in the presidential general election in November if you are 18 up to a month ahead of the election. It varies from one state to another. Some require 10 days to 30 days registration in advance,  some more or less. A few states, (six or maybe a few more states) allow election-day registration, so you could conceivably just walk into a polling place and register and vote on the same day.

Right now, in about one-fifth of the states (approximately ten) you can also register at 17 and vote in a party primary if you will be 18 by election date in November. (Check if your state is one that allows this. Just call your registrar of voters or county clerk, or the office of your state's election official to determine the rules.)

  6. I believe you have to wait till June when you actually turn 18. sorry its the law.
