I will be a sophomore next year and I want to play volleyball?

But i have never played before... In the Oklahoma City area, are there some out of school teams or clubs that would help me learn to play and get experience??? At this time of year??? and any other tips on volleyball beginners would be helpful.

well if you want to learn how to play volleyball before the season starts i would find a friend or someone you know who is on the volleyball team to help you.That way instead of being in a group you could have a one on one with your "coach". I think you could learn way faster this wayy:)

well i'd start by looking in your area and then you can always find a friend to practice with. but i'd try really hard cuz i'm in my high schools volleyball team and its not easy to get in and stay on. cuz usually they're really harsh and will just kick u off the team if u too bad. so yea. tones of practice and good luck!x

Practice against a wall on the side of your house. Practice serving that is what coaches look for while picking the team.

control the ball when you bump it. Coaches dont pick people who make the ball fly across the room.

You can also pepper with somebody that plays

You could look into some teams at your local YMCA.......  work  hard because It is not easy to get onto a High School Volleyball team!

Ask a friend from the volleyball team to help and practice with you. You can also go to some volleyball camps over the summer.
