I will be commuting for a very long time. What are so me beneficial things I can do in the car?

I will be having to go to school an hour away and It is just killing me that I will have to be sitting there. What are some constructive things I can do?

I have thought about learning another language via audio cd's.

keep your eye and mind on the road.  Not paying attention is exactly how people  get killed.  llistening to anything that distracts you puts other peoples lives on the line.  audio cuffs are just another distractive device.  So what if you have to focus on something besides yourself for an  hour.  Do you think that you are the only one who has to do this.  

Think about others.  That one hour is not worth one life!!

listen to a book on tape. Spanish or something else you dont already know. This way, while you're driving you can also expand your horizons.

Get an ipod or iphone, and download free language lessons from Itunes.  They are better than the Rosetta stone.  The best thing is that they are free.  I speak six languages fluently, believe me , it works.
