  1. Working in an adoption agency is perhaps nice..people that works there are all nice as far as i know.

  2. Please find another line of work.

Adoption agencies are about as honest and ethical as that guy on the corner selling cheap Rolex watches.

Seriously, do you think you can live with yourself knowing that your work is literally ruining peoples lives?

Maybe try politics instead? Or perhaps selling used cars?

  3. Probably pretty soul crushing.

Do you enjoy telling lies? Like... "this is what's best for your baby, how selfless of you, it will only hurt a little while, you can move on with your life...."

  4. It could be hazardous.  A disproportionate number of fires and floods seem to occur at adoption agencies.  Definitely be cautious around old file cabinets.

If you enjoy keeping secrets, this could be your dream job.

If you want to earn some money on the side off of adoptees  and their original families searching for each other, it could be rather lucrative.  Nice to earn money off the same clients at different points of a person's life, too.  Enforced customer loyalty.

I understand that a background in sales and marketing can be useful.  Tugging on the heartstrings of already emotionally exhausted infertile folks isn't that difficult, either.  They fall in love with pictures of babies.

If your heart can handle watching women who desperately love their children hand them over to other people, often out of temporary necessity, then you might be a good fit.

Sadly, only some of the above is sarcastic or flip.
